Purple People

Last Sunday, I saw two people, a father and a small child, dressed in long purple robes. I thought it was a bit strange to see purple people, but then living where I live, not too strange. Then as I was walking home on Tuesday, I saw the child and this time his mother, get out of a car in their driveway dressed in the same purple robes. To top it off, their house is painted entirely purple, the same shade as their robes.

Well, I was intrigued. So I consulted Google, and got a little information. This from the Purple People Inc. website:
Purple People Incorporated was founded to promote the concept of equality among all humans and respect for all living creatures. Purple People Inc. strives to teach all people to honor our differences and cherish our similarities. We are ALL joined together through our humanity and together we can create a Universe of love, light, peace and equality.

Why purple? Reverand Nahziryah has the answer:
The color purple is a color of the highest spiritual vibratory rate. This is the color of the age of enlightenment, the age of Universal Consciousness, the age which the world is now embarking on. With far reaching vision, Reverend Nazirmoreh (A.B.R.D.) envelops the Community in this purple vibration - an aura which is conducive to, assists in, and embraces the Direction, the Goal.

Well, the passion of the Purple People has inspired me to pick out a religion. Probably going to be Christianity. Or maybe Hinduism.
